DESCRIPTION: Kane is a young Lab/Shepherd/Chow mix. Its tough to know what his breed is. He’s smaller than most labs; could have some chow but doesn’t have any black on his tongue. He is Black with white patch on his chest, white on the tips of his toes, & white on the inside of one of his front paws. Some patches on his coat look brown/gold in the sunlight.

Kane was rescued in 1/06 on Louisa St., (north of N. Galvez-Bywater-Florida Ave Neighborhood), New Orleans, LA 70117.

Kane was really frightened when rescued & wouldn’t let too many people near him. He had a really far away look in his eyes. He now runs & plays. He tiptoes when walking..he’s a different boy. Shelter thinks that he got really scared when he was out there all those months by himself & its taken him a long time to begin trusting humans again.
