DESCRIPTION: Duke, (Shelter name), is a 2-4 year old Male Carolina Dog/Lab/Pit Mix. He is tan/white with dark brown eyes, black circles around his eyes, black muzzle and a tail that curls up like a Carolina Dog. He has scars on his face that appear to be from buckshot. Duke howls like a beagle and will “mouth” your forearm and attempt to lead you around. He’s a very regal dog who loves people!

Duke was rescued around 11/7/05 from an abandoned building on the 2400 block of Canal St, New Orleans 70119 (Tulane/Gravier area). He was found with an female 6-8 year old black/white pit (BF2307/PF5793). Both dogs had been there a long time & were being fed by National Guardsmen.

Duke has been at Kimber’s Kritters, Shelbyville, TN since 3/06. If you recognize Duke or think you know his owner, contact findkpets@yahoo.com or call 985-893-6456. (See also PF63393 & PF57946)
